I found your WBT interview last night and appreciated your comments. I see that I am not the only one who remembers tiny tidbits of your Charlotte time, and am not surprised that others do also. You gave us laughter when there was little to laugh about, and that is why they remember you 40m years on. It is little wonder why would be funny, jocks like me would like to emulate you and spread the laughter. Even though I was never close to approaching your level, I did my best and I bet there were a lot of little JGwannabees scattered over the Carolinas giving it a try. We did have fun having a go at it too, even if the PD put the badmouth on it....

I often wondered where you got your inspiration. Well, auld buddy, you have been outed. It is nice to find another Fred Allen fan along with other old comedians. You have some great writers. How are you gonna swing One Long Pan?
