I'm no fan of Royalties. I don't profit off work I did ten to twenty years ago, so why should music artists? Why should anyone? Personally, I feel there should be limits set to the number of years with Royalties and even Copyrights. Even Sony seems to neglect paying artists that appeared on Columbia's label. Mary Wilson? of The Supremes seems to be pushing Royalties. Heck, she was probably paid well by Motown. Wasn't that enough? Enough of that. But, anyway, if web radio is going to survive, there should be a common board developed to designate, or suggest, right from wrong. Not just "selling" material, but other things as well, such as what shouldn't be said over the "air". Oddly, this seems to be a mystery with many DJ's, so they take things to extremes, just to play it safe. Take care. John
