Allow me to share a story with you. My sister knew I enjoyed making cassette tapes of what vinyl records I collected (mid '80's), for personal use. Her boyfriend mentioned he had some LPs he wanted transfered to cassette tape. I told my sister I'd be glad to help him.

He dropped them off. I sort through them (about 6-8) and they were all Elvis LPs. Since they were in such nice condition, in cellophane, I immediately thought they were reissues. But, then, I noticed stickers on the cellophane, from the manufacture, RCA. My excitement started growing. Could these be original pressings? To make a long story short, they sure were!!!! Some priced as high as $100 in a Record Collecting Guide! But the nice ending to this story is, he told me I could keep the LPs in return for transferring them to cassette!

Anyway, Elvis was a great singer, and RCA dumped as much money as they could into his recordings. Those '60's LPs of his; no other record company could touch the sound quality of Elvis, on RCA!

Best,
John
