Subject: RE: LONG Awaited Answer For Jim Liddane

Message Detail:
Bob, I did enjoy my 15 minutes. However, it wasn't a vintage 50's car, it was a '78 Diamond Jubilee Edition Thunderbird. The contest was called 'Car Tunes'. The DJ on WCBM when I called in was Jack Edwards. Many clues were given for listeners to put together and name the many tunes/artists. I was fortunate enough to be the right numbered caller, for I did have all the clues and what I thought were the right answers. I started rattling off the answers before Jack told me to! I was so nervous! But I was right! Yahoo! Jack was so excited for me. Years later when we met, both working at WITH - I introduced myself, he remembered me well. Fun days.

We didn't get to keep the car, it was a lease for a year. You know what I remember the most about that car? Quadrophonic sound! What a joy to pop an 8-track or cassette in there and listen to that rich orchestration as almost 'live'. Wow. I had to pull off the road! LOL

Thanks for the opportunity to set the 'record' straight.

J
