Jim! Thanks for your response. Yes, music is music is music. And, as always-what goes around, comes around. I remember running to my Mom when I was excited to hear a 'new' song on the radio. Mom, mom, you've gotta listen to this ---- "My Prayer" by the Platters. Isn't it so heavenly? Mom smiling, holding back from telling me it was not such a new song after all. She let me discover for myself, bless her. Except when it came to "Blue Moon", ha ha ha. My son called not too long ago to ask me, what was the name of that song so and so did on Idol and who did the original? Do you have it? Yes, on vinyl. Bless him, he still has the gene. Thanks for cueing me in to "Grace Kelly" - yes, I did enjoy it! Especially when he touched on Freddie Mercury. I liked Queen.
