By the way, I don't know if any of you heard last night's "Classic 45's" program, but Randall interviewed the Young Rascals' lead singer Felix Cavaliere. Now you know what kind of a quality type of show this is!! It was a fairly lengthy interview with Felix, plus Randall played many of their big hits. During the interview, Randall had mentioned to Felix that the Rascals was one of the very few white groups that had recorded with Atlantic, as artists such as (correct me if I'm wrong) Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles (at one time), and many others had signed with the label. And as far as I'm concerned, Cavaliere has got one heck of an R & B voice!! The Rascals had even recorded Pickett's "Mustang Sally," and "In the Midnight Hour," but Cavaliere had said that the Rascals had recorded "Midnight Hour" before Wilson did it. All in all, it was a great interview and program, and I'm sure there are many Rascals' fans out there. And you'll all have to listen in next Friday night to "Classic 45's!"
