I believe one of the reasons Oldies stations are disappearing is simply demographics. The age group that genrerally listens to this type of music is getting older and dying off. The way it goes, my friend. At least you can be thankful that you have a station like UltimateOldies that you can come to, to listen to along with the other lovers of Oldies music.
