Message Detail:
Ed, that is a fascinating anecdote about Christopher Glenn. I need to do another Oldies Radio Reunion in Baltimore so we can get you to tell more of those stories.

I want you to tell any Roz Ford stories you may know from '59. I have one, have you heard it? About the Ocean City caravan with Anita Bryant and jocks from WITH and WCAO (where you were the host of the All-Night Satellite)? Where you there for that one?

I remember my meeting with you at WITH like it was yesterday. After I came in to meet you that summer of '76, you told me to rip some copy from the AP/UPI machine and record it on to a reel to reel in one of the studios on the third floor at 7 E. Lexington.

As I was hearing myself read news headlines in my headphones...I said to myself 'This man is not going to hire me, even I know I sound too raw'. Nevertheless, just granting me the opportunity to audition meant more to me than you know.

And then we work together at WITH 20 years later.

As Mel Allen would say, 'How 'bout that?'
