Bob - from the pic, that station looked like so many small town stations. The jock was the only person there during the off hours. And that contest where the listener is asked "what's your favorite radio station"! I always wanted to hear someone give the call letters of a competitor after winning a prize...LOL I think if you had been born about 10 years earlier, you could have fit the "AM Boss Jock" mold for sure! Unfortunatly, by the late 70's, AM radio was all but a memory. |
