Yeah Jersey, that's pretty heavy indeed. What Solomon (the writer of Proverbs) meant by that in one respect, is that many people tend to look at one offense as worse than another. In fact, many people believe that they can talk God into letting them into heaven if their good deeds outweigh the bad...or if they weren't as bad as the next guy. God however, says sin is sin, period. That's why Christ came to die for our sins, because God's standards of holiness are such that He cannot tolerate any sin. One of the 10 commandments is to honor our mother and our father, thus God places a high priority on respecting our parents. Bob
