Howdy! I'll be putting some new stuff on the home page starting tonight. Thanks for bearing with me. Thanks to Mary Q. & Nanci S. and Gene S. for coming out to the oldies dance on Saturday June 2 in Baltimore. We had a very nice group and the dance floor was filled. It's one of the more enjoyable I've ever been a part of. We also featured an unannounced treat. A live performance by one the great R&B groups of the 50's, the Swallows! Original member Eddie Rich (who is 76) and his cohorts (who are younger, in their 60's) brought down the house with a few accapella numbers from their hit catalog. So...stand by for more Old Gold...coming soon to an Ultimate Oldies near you. And...too bad Jersey John didn't make it down to the shindig. There were a lot of classy and charming 'hons' whom he could have danced with. Bob |
