Hyski is quite a charismatic character. Great jock, and whenever I'd drive near Philly across the Delaware Memorial Bridge my way to Wildwood or Cape May (loved those frozen custards at the Olympic Drive-In on US 40!) I always enjoyed his schtick on 98.1 (WOGL).

Yes...the world of payola is quite fascinating.

As I mentioned on one of the shows this week...anyone interested in that aspect of the radio 'business' should acquire a copy of 'The Hit Men' by Frederic Dannen.
