It just so happens that due to my own career/life/whatever, I have ended up interviewing lots of odd people in rock and roll, (mainly songwriters), but let's be honest about it, all I know is what others have told me, and hey! - who am I to know when I was being told the truth?

I mean - at 3000 miles away from the East Coast (not to mention 6000 from the West)?

Ireland is Ireland, but in rock and roll terms, Limerick is not exactly Nashville. Or LA. Not even Dayton, Ohio! (OK - we did produce the Cranberries, but that's about it).

And what is truth anyway, but one person's viewpoint?

Expert? No.

Recipient of other people's stories?

Possibly.

And that's all!

Still, I loved the compliment. At my age, any compliment is welcome! And unexpected!
