Having been an avid vinyl collector, now avid CD collector, I'm trying to find an outlet to air what I find. I do a lot of research to find unique material, not often heard on radio. No, not the obscure, let's just say "different". I get so excited when I find something exciting on CD. It's even difficult to find other CD collectors to share my excitement with. Anyway, I contacted a local radio station, and initially told them they ignore too much early music of the '50's and '60's. The Program Manager wasn't hesitant to agree. I found that odd. I later proposed my idea for a radio show. Even though he and others shot the idea down, or was confused what I offered, I felt he wished to see me succeed. That was nice! Thanks, Tommy!
