Anything by Blood, Sweat & Tears would be tops at oldies with horns...They took horns from being merely used as an accent to the melody line to nearly the level of jazz.

Plus, as a jock it was always fun to intro their songs by saying something like: "Later we'll discuss why Blood and Tears didn't like the guy in the middle very much...Now here's Spinning Wheel on 68-WCBM"...
