In continuance of Jim and John's observations of the latter's lyrical misstep...here are a couple of 'gems' that actually occurred through the years. These were uttered from the mouths of listeners who requested them on the air. One person wanted to hear 'Sad Sweet Dreamer' (Sweet Sensation). He asked for 'Pepsi People'. Another requested Mark Lindsay's 'Arizona'. He wanted to know if we would play 'Air Raid's Over!' as Melvin Franklin would say.... ...'and the band plays on!' Bob |
