Hey, I really did enjoy that Stax records show that you just recently did. That really brought back a lot of great memories as I used to live in Memphis in the late 80's and early 90's. At the time I was working and taking some grad courses there. And on weekends I used to love to go to the great R & B clubs there on Beale Street, such as B.B. King's club, Elvis Presley's Graceland, and others, and many of the groups that perform there still play many of the songs that you played on the show. And also, when I was there I was able to see some of the great blues festivals in that area which featured many great recording artists such as B.B. King, Albert King, Bobby Blue Bland, Ruby Wilson, and others. And I miss the South, because there's so much about that part of the country that I really did like! If anybody here does get a chance to go to Memphis for any reason, it's well worth visiting Beale street to listen to some great music, and you can dine on some wonderful Southern barbeque as well!
