Hey, Jim, Cat Stevens did "Jesus". So did Charlie Daniels, so did Cliff Richard, so did....... :-) I know, I know. But Charlie Daniels also did "The Devil Went Down To Georgia" so no matter how much he might have tried to redeem himself, I don't trust him. And Cliff did "Devil Woman". Never quite trusted him actually - he was just too good. Me? I think I'll work on the devil songs if that's OK with the rest of you. Did you ever realise John, just how many devil songs there are? Devil In Disguise.....Devil Woman....The Devil Went Down To Georgia...Devil Or Angel...Devil Gate Drive. A hell of a lot of them. Makes you think though doesn't it? Still, no point at my age in making enemies. Yourself and Nanci and Bob can go ahead work on the God songs - I'll take out an insurance policy - just in case. |
