Since The Earls didn't go over well, how about Little Willie John!? After being reacquainted with his name, on a various artists CD (w/ "Leave My Kitten Alone"), I found a LWJ budget CD, on the King Records label, so I picked it up. As soon a I played it, his "Sleep" song caused so much excitement, it was VERY welcome! Of course, I later tracked down a Stereo version. It was one of those tunes, that I had to play to a few times - making me wonder where I first heard it (just like Bobby Womack's "Fly Me To The Moon")! Even though some may view Little Willie John as a bad person, since he found his way to prison, and was murdered in prison, I'd still shake his hand for the fine tunes he sang!
