It could be Walt... although when I lived in the Azores for 4 years (The land of a million donkeys) I happened to have a donkey that came with the house I was living in.
He had a saddle nearly a carbon copy of that one. The folks there would throw a cushion across it and that would be the riding saddle. So it would seem that that design is the typical one for mules and donkeys. I'm sure that it could be modified for wire stringing duty.
By the way... Happy Holidays and answer my wifes letter so I can get the Brown book for Christmas!!! 8)
