Subject: RE: Signal Corps station, Peach Grove

Message Detail:
Article Not yet ready -- been off giving classes to elementary schools about Civil War - hope to get back to it soon. did uncover history at Claude Moore park near Sterling park, VA, on Little Stoney mountain. A log type tower was erected as a signal station in mid June 1863. This is location of I Corps, Army of the Potomac, while awaiting orders to cross the Potomac.
