Subject: Signal Corps station, Peach Grove

Message Detail:
Hi, i am trying to find information about the signal station at Peach Grove (aka Tysons Corner) virginia. It was erected as part of a stockade (long gone). Teh station was part of the early warning line erected in northern Virginia in 1864 that connected Red Hill with Prospect Hill, Peach Grove, Vienna, and Fairfax CH. I would be interested in receiving any information about the detachment, tower and stockade for an article I am writing about the Peach Grove stockade. I have read SC history and Meyers Report in the Supplement to ORs, but nothing on Defenses of Washington and early Warning lines
