Nice recon Jarad. Sounds like one of those rare occasions in signal re-enacting where a four foot black signal flag might nicely fit the bill for an undertaking of this size.

A note to re-enactors:

It is quite interesting to note that, while signalling with trees and fields as a backdrop, one would think that a black flag is better seen through the white smoke that often envelops a re-created scenario, but it is, in fact, just the opposite. The white flag is far more visible than a black flag when viewed through dense white smoke.
