What else can you see in this image that may be worthy of note?

From a reenactors standpoint:

The two gentlemen posing for a picture- with coats open and no vest. (Something that in the reenacting community has held as being a NO, NO- Button that coat, at least the top button)

Also I found the two hats of the gentlemen seated (One Kepi and one slouch type) both seem to have insignias (Patches)but by enlarging I can't quite identify, but look as though they my be crossed flags-? In 1862-?

Lastly- The telescope with leathers- one of the better I've seen.
