I trust you were able to read back into the thread about Recon III and the observations Tom McDonald offered relative to the two re-enactor communities and hence - two Gettysburgs this year.

Contending events such as Gettysburg 2013 are nothing new. Such twin outings have been concurring since well before the 125th but for many newcomers, they are all astonished at first discovery. This too shall pass.
