Tom, The painting you ask about is titled "The Vantage Point," by British (IIRC) artist Alan Fearnley. It "imagines" Lee and Longstreet in conference in the cupola with a signal sergeant looking over the railing and holding a red (with over-sized white center square) signal flag on an overly short staff.

Seems to me that I also have seen a Jerome-Buford painting, but can't be sure, so I'll let someone else field that one.
