![]() Subject: CEDAR CREEK 2011 |
Cedar Creek 2011 On behalf of 1st Section, US Signal Corps, Department of New York, Chief Signals for First Federal Division Command, Under Major General Allen Baldwin, we would like to thank the confederate signals who attended the 147th Cedar Creek Battle Reenactment this weekend, October 15-16, 2011. The extreme cooperation, professionalism, and upmost competence of all the Confederate Signals in attendance; Scott Dailey, John Schultz and The Signal Corps of the James, Bob Stecker and crew of the Chesapeake Signal Detachment, and Tom Nelson et al of Longstreet’s Signals, afforded the use of the most effective use of authentic and proficient signal communications during this event. We received many positive compliments from the Federal Staff and well and many other on-lookers who observed our work. I look forward to working with all again in such cooperation as we make our way through the 150th series events, bringing the importance of effective signal communications in event coordination and battle flow to the forefront. As special thanks to John Schultz for the loner flying torch and fuel for our use Saturday night! Mark Hageman |
