Subject: RE: Telegraph insecurity during CW

Message Detail:
Dave, it it not interesting how we crave those letters or other documentation related to CW figures that may be squirrled away in attics and bank vaults. We see those as potentially able to clarify many murky situations if only they were made available.

It is interesting also to note that in researching Stuart's intelligence-related practices rarely did the mention of signal corps or telegraph activities crop up (at least in official correspondence). While not a good borometer of how important Stuart considered these tools of the trade, it nonetheless points to how these activities were kept in the background perhaps as a reflection of standard security practices.
