Subject: RE: Introduction

Message Detail:
We are making some progress, we were able to signal the enemy's advancement to the Artillery at this years Battle of Round Mountain. The Artillery boys want us, now if we can convince the Infantry. We do lose most of our recruits to the dismounted Cavalry and Artillery, however we are not giving up. In the past we have used our Signalist to help man artillery pieces that were short of people. This year the Artillery Commander told us that he wanted us as Signalist and not Artillerymen. The next step is to pass real messages and not just signal the start of an action. Thanks for the support Chuck. Bernie Cooper, CS Signal Corps, Indian Territory Detachment
