Subject: Flag of CSS Nansemond

For those interested in the story, I posted an inquiry about the flag that resulted in a post-war (1866) Medal of Honor for a member of the US Signal Corps, the only MOH given to a member during the war. This started a thread that ferreted out a confusing second flag, an ANV "7th issue wool bunting," which should not have come from an element of the CSN, nor have been "the ensign" I was seeking. I wondered if the ANV flag might have belonged to Milligan's Independent SigC (ISC). The URL below is the latest posting at this point.
