Subject: RE: Signal Star'd 'Battle-Flag'

Message Detail:
Not sure, but that looks like a picture of the one at the National Cryptologic Museum at Fort Meade, MD. It has honors on all five points of the star, and is the centerpiece of the small exhibit area dedicated to comms and comm scty--telegraph, a USMT codebook, Confed cipher reel, etc. The Sig Corps Assoc sponsored a symposium there a few years back, and presented them a copy of Bacon's painting of a sig sta on the Potomac.
