I've read yours on the 2007 New Market re-enactment saying, "After the battle a detailed report containing the text of all messages (and explanations where needed) with the times they were sent was provided to the Event Signal Officer via my Commanding Officer, Major Scott Dailey."

This sort of action strikes at the core of what Myer wanted to see his signallists do. And you all did it in a timely fashion - right after the engagement.

Keeping our activities 'fresh' in the minds of over-all field commanders has, will and can continue to cause serious attention toward what we are able to contribute (in a period fashion) to the ever-challenging efforts of producing better scripting of historical events.
