Subject: RE: More Notes on the Yankee Signal Star Flag

Correction needed:

In my original posting of Notes on the Yankee Signal Star Flag I mentioned that:

"To the best of our knowledge the Confederate signal corps had no counterpart [signal battle flag] although some re-enactor's little mind devised it anyway."

Actually this fellow didn't have a little mind. He had a broad understanding of how things should have been and was very creative indeed attempting to make history how he had always evisioned it should be. He only lacked in the area of being re-creative.

(please don't let the term "Yankee" on the subject line stir you; I have portray'd on both sides of the re-enacting field (and civilian too!) these many years)
