Subject: RE: A Flag Size Question - Puzzled

Message Detail:
Chuck,

Ms. Joiner's flags are very good quality and closely resemble a pair of original (probably late 19th or early 20th century) 2 ft. action flags I own. Design and style of sewing are dead on. The only differnce is that my older flags seem to be made of a slightly heavier and more loosely weaved material, like a cotton flannel. The originals tend not to crease as easily when rolled and seem to be less likely to foul when signaling in the wind.

Regards,

Ken
