Message Detail:
TKS, RAY. GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT. GLASSFORD'S "HISTORY" IS POSTED ON THE NET, AND IS PRETTY GOOD. I'VE THOUGHT OF HIM AS A TRANSITIONAL FIGURE IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE US ARMY SIGNAL CORPS, ACQUAINTED WITH ITS ORIGINS BUT SENSING THAT VISUAL SIGNALING WAS ALREADY BEING LEFT BEHIND IN THE MARCH OF PROGRESS. THIS IS OFTEN THE CASE, THAT WE FIND INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ORIGINS (AND WE CERTAINLY HAVE A FEW OF THEM HERE), A FEW WHO ARE FAR-SIGHTED AND CARE LITTLE ABOUT THE PAST, AND THE GREAT MASS WHO TAKE IT A DAY AT A TIME. I'D SQUEEZE GLASSFORD BETWEEN ONE AND TWO.
