Subject: Ship Movement Confirm'd

Message Detail:
I have the honour to report that the following sightings have occurred.

The United States Naval Hospital Ship COMFORT was underway from the Port of Baltimore at 1120 pm this evening.

Four assisting tugs were away at 145pm and the docking and bay pilots were exchanged at 1153 pm

Comfort passed beneath the Francis Scott Key Bridge at 1208 am.

At 12:31 this morning COMFORT was seen clearing the mouth of the Patapsco River at North Point and entering the Chesapeake Bay heading South toward Norfolk and out to sea where she is expected to arrive in the Gulf of Mexico in about three days. At the time of this writing (1:25 am), COMFORT should be passing or has just passed the Naval Academy at Annapolis.

There will still be an exceptional amount to do when USNS COMFORT reaches the mouth of the Mississippi early next week.

God Speed. wfm
