After action report

The confederate and Union signals opened up communication about 15min before the battle began. Commanders from both sides were ready to use us to cordinate the battle sequence. The first message sent from the union to the confederates was that the Union would begin the battle in 5min, however, just as the message came through the Union skirmishers got to excited and began to fire.

This tells us that they need to use signals for time keeping also!!! :)

Overall the weekend was another motivational event for signals. Messages were coming and going very rapidly and the commanders on both sides were having fun using us for signals. Over 20 messages went back and forth in the short 30min battles.

Again Thank You to Union Signal Corp, 1st Section NY.
