Subject: RE: Assignment of Signal Officers

Message Detail:
Walt,

Makes perfect sense that JFR as a corps commander would have had a signal officer on staff. Or at least attached. Why two signal officers? Iíve had discussion with a few other folks that also seem a bit perplexed over the both Wiggins and Camp always being on hand. There is even one source found in the ORís that is signed Wiggins Camp.

At first glance I thought that Wiggins Camp simply meant Wiggins Camp of signalman. Was it normal for a corps commander to more than one signal officer?

Regards,

Anthony
