Subject: Codes and Cyphers in the Bible?

I read an account of codes and cyphers that suggested that in the Bible, Daniel 5:5-28, there is a phrase that may have a code or cypher imbedded in it. It's "Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin." Its meaning was an advance prediction that the Babalonian Empire would fall, conquered by Cyrus of Iran.
I have no credentials in the field of ancient history or
Biblical study.
Any opinions, out there?
