Subject: New Telegraph Setup (Pics)

Message Detail:
All,

Here are pics of my new telegraph setup. I'm using a Relay with a local sounder. As you can see I'm still using the boxes I made for the KOB's I had.

The Whole Setup:

The Camelback Key. I got it off of Ebay. Was seriously in bad shape when I got it - missing parts and VERY dirty. I replaced the parts from the other Keys I had and cleaned it up. I also placed it on it's own 'board' which is new wood - made from Popalar.

Here's the Relay. It's a very nice piece I picked up off of ebay. I needed to replace the spring and string. It's due for a MAJOR cleaning as well - maybe this winter.

And the "Local Sounder". This is powered by a 6v cell that's behind the door. Because I put it 'up' and 'in' the box - it amplifies the noise by a factor of THREE. Makes it a bit difficult to adjust, but having it VERY loud is a good tradeoff in my book.

Well any comments, suggestions, or well-wishes - please let me know. We're putting up about 1/2 mile of wire this weekend and using these newly configured "Telegraph Boxes".
