John, Sure wish I'd known about the TV coverage in time to see it. The notion of comparing today's embedded media with the Civil War period is a good example of how to be inventive or imaginative and invite free media coverage. (And I do commend you for yielding to a slim young trooper for the sake of appearance. There's too much gab about over-indulgent, over-age re-enactors of lank, lean, under-fed Rebs--especially--and stepping back to allow a "more authentic" looker was a nice gesture, doubtless appreciated by him and his folks.) (I try to explain that it usually takes a guy well along in life to have accumulated the funds and time to permit him to indulge.)
