Ben,

Thank you very much for your research on our behalf. Our Henry would have most likely been listed either from South Thomaston, Thomaston or Rockland. Also, doubtful that he would have enlisted, being a captain of his own ship, etc.

Do you know if ships and/or owners were ever pressed into some form of Federal service? His ship was a brigantine named the Golden Lead.
