Subject: Charles H Robinson, K'bunk |
|
In the 1883 "List of Pensioners" for both the US Civil War and the War of 1812, a Miriam Robinson, living in York at the time, is listed as a pensioned Mother. I do not have any local Robinsons in my list of Veterans associated with the Town of York. I suspect she may have been the Mother of Charles H Robinson, a volunteer from Kennebunk and a member of the 1st DC / 1st Maine Cavalry. Can someone (John Haseltine?) confirm that Miriam was indeed his Mother and that she was living in York in 1883? Thank you |
