Memory of Sister Dora Harper
Another life has passed into the great beyond. Sister Dora F. Woodcock Harper was born Dec. 28, 1896 departed this life April 20, 1927. She was married to Neal Harper and to this union was born three children, Leland age 13, Clara age 10 and Irene age 7. They are left without a loving mother to have to protect them through life. She was carried to Ridgetop Sanitarium for treatment of T.B. sometime ago. She bore her afflictions with patience while she was at home always hoping to get well, but it seems it was not the Lord's will to restore her back to health. So we feel today that she is basking in the sunlight of the one who doeth all things well.
Be it resolved by Long Creek church of which she was a member that we extend to her father, mother, brother, sisters and three little orphant children our deepest sympathy in this sad hour and we command them to Jesus the great comforter who is able to relieve the hearts of all who are bereaved. We resolve that a copy of these resolutions be given to the family and a copy be sent to the Macon County Times for publication.
