I'm related to Gen. Amos Woodcock (director of prohibition under Herbert Hoover). Jesse Lee Woodcock's son (Robert Woodcock family) was Floyd Wilson Woodcock. Floyd Wilson Woodcock married Edna May Dodd. Their woodcock son is Floyd Baylie Woodcock. FLoyd Wilson was married more than once and there was one more son from his subsequent wife KAthleen. Floyd Baylie Woodcock married Mary McGrath (who is from New Zealand) and their kids are Susan Mary, Diane Baylie, and Barbara Alice. All I know about my dad's side of the family is that they came from England & are mostly located in the Pennsylvannia / Maryland area now.

I am just starting my serch for the family of Williston Dixion Woodcock, born 1850 in Oregon, married to Mary E. Paine, born about 1854. I have a picture of some Woodcock family members taken in 1897 in Dufur Oregon, Wasco county. The picture includes: Williston
Woodcock and his wife Mary, daughters Dollie, Maude, Ada, twin sons Newton and Jasper, and son Eldon: Louis Klinger and his wife Melissa Klinger. Melissa is a sister of Williston: Alonzo Woodcock a brother of Williston is also in the picture: Bill McHaley and wife Lida K. McHaley. Lida is a sister of Williston's. McHaley children are Laura, Nellie and Mettie. Mettie's twin sister Minnie is not in the picture. There are two other children, Josie Woodcock and Kate Woodcock. I do not knoew if these two girls are the children of Williston or the children of Alonzo. If there is anyone here interested in this family please let me know. Thanks

Hi. I'm also related to Amos Woodcock (director of Prohibition). I wanted to know how to update the family trees. I tried contacting Merri Adelsberger a while ago, but she never responded....I have quite a bit of missing information to put in.
