I'm searching for the name of the child born to Mary Jane Thompson from her marriage to James Henry Woodcock of Tweed Ontario. James Henry woodcock was my great grandfather and I decend from him and his first wife Lydia Jane Vilneff. James Henry Woodcock married a second time to Mary Jane Thompson d/o Wm. C. and Martha A. Thompson on May 21, 1904 ; James Henry Woodcock died on March 17, 1908. I'm told that Mary Jane bore him a son after his death. Any one having information about this son or daughter??? please contact me.

Hi there!
I have been researching my family tree for a few years. My interest started with a wedding certificate of a Daniel Flexney and an Emily Hewlett. It took place in St. Hilary's Church in the county of Glamorgan, Wales in 1863.
On the certificate it states that Daniel's father was Edward Flexney,a blanket maker, and Daniel was a cabinet maker. He lived in Bedminster,a part of Bristol.
I have been told that he came to Bristol from Oxfordshire after Edward Flexney died. Edward's wife settled in the city.
My great-grandmother Frances Annie Searle (born Flexney),I believe,was Daniel Flexney's daughter,possibly Emily Hewlett's.
I bought a wedding certificate of a Henry Searle and Frances Annie Flexney. This shows that her father was a Daniel Flexney. The wedding was in 1884.

I looked at the BMD website and I saw that Daniel Flexney married again in 1876 to an Elizabeth Woodcock.
In the 1881 census Daniel and Elizabeth were living in Bristol with daughters,Jane Flexney(17) and Jane Woodcock(11).
Could you please tell me which Woodcock married Elizabeth originally.

Daniel was,in my opinion,a bit of a lad!His first wife,in the 1881 census lived in London as a widow.

Best wishes

Neil

I am looking for any further information on CRISPIN WOODCOCK born in 1843 to Hannah Woodcock (nee STOCKS). I require confirmation of who Crispin's father was, as Thomas WOODCOCK (Hannahs husband) died prior to Crispin's conception. The name WILLIAM WOODCOCK has been given on some documentation. ALSO Crispins son WALTER WOODCOCK born 1901 with Crispin's 3rd wife Hannah (nee Hall) requires further exploration. I would be interested in hearing from anyone with further details. They resided @ Robertown area, Yorkshire.
