Naturally, I feel that my Woodcock line is the source of all Woodcocks world wide. So how is it none of my Woodcocks are referenced? Seriously, if anyone is interested in my small line of Woodcocks, based in central Sheffield, England or could offer information, get in touch.
Keywords: Charles Woodcock, Henry Woodcock, Alfred Lance Woodcock (thought to have gone to Canada), Hoyle Street, St. Philips Road, Sheffield.

This is a wonderful site. Don't know if I am related to the Woodcock family. Have been trying to prove it for years, from the Bulloch County, GA and Calhoun, Early Counties in SW GA., in connection with the Rimes/Rhymes family of Bulloch. Will be back to explore more. Hopefully, I am related..such a wonderful heritage.

NEW YORK STATE, OSWEGO AND ONEIDA COUNTIES I am searching for info on my great-grandmother Hazel L. Woodcock, born 1883 to Herbert L. Woodcock (1851 to 1903)and his wife Josephine __?__ (1850 to 1926). Hazel married William Alexander Gray and resided her entire married life in Oswego County New York. Hazel died in Oswego County in 1966. Hazel was believed to have had two sisters: Breita and Edna. It is possible that Hazel and her parents originated in Oneida County New York. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
