I am looking for the Sheldon family from Vermont. I am stuck on Charles Sheldon who married Celeste Stoddard. Their children were: Eleanor Sheldon, Wilma, Guy and John Hale. John was my great great grandfather who was born 2/6/1856 and died 1947. He married Wilma G. Andrews born February 28, 1861 died 12/1982. Their only child, my grandfather, was Roscoe Conklin Sheldon Born 1886, died 2/7/1940 in Montpellier, VT.

Wilma G. Andrews was the daughter of John Andrews who was killed in the Civil War on 9/23/1862. John Andrews was married to Luella Wheelock Born February 22, 1838 and died November 06, 1909.

I would like to find more information on the parents of John Hale Sheldon and Celeste Stoddard as well as the parents of John S. Andrews. Do you have any information on them. They all were from Vermont. You can contact me at glodigger@aol.com

My grandfather, Herbert Worthington Woodcock, was born (I believe) in North London at the end of the 1800's. My father's Christian names included 'Spencer' which apparently was a family name. I would be very interested to hear of any links. Thanks!
